I am interested in using clinical informatics and disseminationa and implementation (D&I) research to investigate ways to improve patient care across a variety of diseases, primarily in the pediatric emergency department and inpatient setting. Areas of interest include neonatal HSV, bronchiolitis, STIs, and children with complex medical diseases. I also have an interest in airway management and the use of advanced airway equipment in critically ill pediatric patients.
I also spend time working to improve the personal financial knowledge of trainees. I have given several lectures on personal finance to multiple groups of medical students as well as residents in multiple specialities. I led creation of a new personal finance/business of medicine lecture series for the residents in pediatrics and internal medicine at WashU.
