Critical Care Medicine | Fellowship
The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine offers an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education accredited Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship. The program is accredited for 15 fellows (5 fellows per year). Clinical training is received at St. Louis Children's Hospital, a nationally recognized pediatric quaternary referral center on the campus of the Washington University Medical Center that is among the nation’s elite children’s hospitals. St. Louis Children's Hospital serves eastern and southern Missouri, central and southern Illinois, northwestern Kentucky, western Indiana, as well as the broader national and international communities.
The goal of the training program is to prepare individuals for an academic career in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Most fellows will complete 18 months of clinical training and 18 months of research. Fellows have the opportunity to obtain research training through several programs available at Washington University.
