Current Fellow

Heli Bhatt, MBBS, MPH earned her medical degree at Smt. NHL Municipal College in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. She then obtained a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas Science Center at Houston majoring in epidemiology. Dr. Bhatt completed her residency training in pediatrics at Diamond Children’s Hospital at the University of Arizona in Tucson and a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Riley Children’s Hospital, Indiana University in Indianapolis. Her research interests are in autoimmune hepatitis and in her personal time, she enjoys traveling (interesting places like Galapagos and Machu Picchu), cooking Indian food and spending time with family.
