MedRISK is an important part of your pediatric residency training and will ensure that you're educated on the best ways to improve patient safety and reduce risk of malpractice liability. These topics are required by the Residency Review Committee (RRC) and American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). St. Louis Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine have decided to provide residents with a new approach to insuring your education in these areas via web-based programs provided by Medical Risk Management, Inc. (MedRisk).
In late May or early June, Darren Murphy will email you instructions on how to complete these online modules. These modules will need to be completed before June 25, in order to begin residency.
