Diversity & Inclusion 2.0 - Uncons cious Bias (This is a virtual training)

Facilitators provide experiential activities that align with materials from the American Associ ation of Medical Colleges (AAMC) to demonstrate how unconscious bias is som ething that every individual holds.  The goals of this interactive training is to highlight the concept of unconscious bias\, how it influences indivi duals on a daily basis\, and provides tangible tools for mitigating unconsc ious bias.

How to Register:  Registration must be co mpleted by logging into https://wust l.sabacloud.com/ and selecting HR - Diversity & Inclusion 2.0\, course number 00006221 and class ID number 0000063234.  The registration expiratio n for this training is beginning of business day 10/27/2022. Please be awar e that some diversity training in 2022 is offered virtual and onsite.

How to attend the training:  This is a virtual training\, conducted in Zoom.  Please ignore any links from SABA to join this trainin g.  The Zoom link will be sent to registered learners before the training d ate.

What to do after training is completed:  After the training has been completed and the completion update is made by the Of fice of Diversity\, Equity & Inclusion\, learners receive a system generate d Email from Washington University Learn@Work.  The Email contains a link to the evaluation. Complete the evaluation as soon as you can to av oid action messages of “in progress\, pending action or “incom plete” in your Plan that is not associated with the training\, but the evaluation.

  1. Please leave the video on during the training if po ssible. You may be asked to turn off video to increase Zoom data and bandwi dth.
  2. Please use full name as screen name. If you’re joining from a device that does not allow Zoom ID\, please place your name in chat. If joi ning from a space with other participants\, place all names in your space i n the chat to allow them to get credit for attending the training.
  3. How to Change Zoom screen name –While in the meeting see “ Participants”\, hover the mouse over your name on the participants list\, s ee “more” if using Participant list\, or … on your screen\, “Rename”\, ente r first and last name\, “OK”. Or place your full name in the chat at the be ginning of the training.  If an incomplete screen name is used\, it may tak e longer to change the completion status.

  5. Late arrival – Please join the training within 15 minu tes of start.  Anyone joining after 15 minutes will need to register for an other training and complete in full\, to receive a Successful completion st atus
