Clinical Interests
Dr. Kaar graduated from University of Massachusetts- Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2009. After working as a farm laborer in Australia and an Advisory Services Specialist at Wells Fargo Advisors, she went on to receive her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2017. She completed her pediatrics residency at Saint Louis University in 2020, followed by a fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis in 2021. She then joined the Division of Allergy and Pulmonary medicine as faculty. Dr. Kaar is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Her clinical interests include sleep-disordered breathing, insomnia, the ramifications of obesity and sleep, and the effect of sleep habits on sports performance.
