Welcome to the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Research Associates’ Program

PEMRAP offers Washington University undergraduate students, interested in pursuing a career in medicine or an allied health care field, an opportunity to participate in clinical, patient-oriented research projects at St. Louis Children’s Hospital on the Washington University School of Medicine campus.

Program details & student responsibilities

PEMRAP students assist Washington University faculty members who serve as principal investigators for clinical research studies. Students will attend weekly classes and can shadow in the Emergency Department.

Your first step is to complete the PEMRAP I registration form in order to express interest in this one-of-a-kind program. We also offer PEMRAP II to advance your Pediatric Emergency Medicine Research skills.
