Now Offering Virtual Visits

Life seems very different during these challenging times, but Washington University Department of Pediatrics is here to care for your child’s needs, just as we’ve always been. With virtual visits, you can see your doctor without a visit to the office. Our staff will walk you through every step of the process. Learn more:

The health of our patients and staff is our top priority. During the COVID-19 pandemic, here is what we are doing to keep everyone safe during your office visit:

  • We require all patients and visitors over 2 years old to wear a mask.
  • We recommend one visitor accompany our pediatric patients at this time, although a maximum of two will be allowed.
  • You will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 when you arrive for your appointment. You may be asked to reschedule if symptoms are present.
  • Practice social distancing and stay at least 6 feet apart from others when possible.
  • If you have a MyChart account, please complete the online check-in and payment before your visit.

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology/Immunology in the Department of Pediatrics at Washington University School of Medicine provides comprehensive care for pediatric patients with rheumatologic disorders. The division is a regional center and draws patients from throughout Missouri and Illinois as well as surrounding states including Arkansas, Iowa, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Oklahoma. The division is comprised of seven full-time faculty members, five fellows, two nurse practitioners and three nurse coordinators. We have several active clinical research protocols to allow our patients access to the latest research opportunities, including serving as a clinical center for Childhood Arthritis Rheumatology Research Alliance. The division has operated a robust fellowship program for over 20 years, and we have trained 23 fellows including 11 MD-PhDs. These fellows have gone on to distinguished careers in pediatric rheumatology including current division directors and program directors in pediatric rheumatology programs.
