The members of the planning committee for WUSM’s Education Day 2024, which will be held Friday, October 15, 2024 in EPNEC with a theme of The Future of Healthcare Education, want to make you aware of a couple opportunities:
Call for break-out session topics/presenters

We are seeking proposals for 60-minute interactive break-out sessions for the event. We are particularly interested in topics that fit broadly within the day’s theme (e.g., AI in healthcare education, tech-enhanced learning, writing high quality narratives, advocacy) but will consider other proposals. Inter-professional collaboration is welcome. If interested in being considered, please complete the following Qualtrics survey by Monday, March 4:

Call for posters/oral abstract presentations
Notice will go out on March 5
We will be looking for a wide variety of abstracts representing both education research and innovative approaches to education across the health professions and across learner stages from undergraduate through post-graduate (including continuing education). This year, we will be adding an oral abstract presentation session. If you are doing something interesting in education, start thinking now about sharing it with the rest of the WUSM education community! Abstract submission site will open on March 5 and will close June 5.
