Attendees enjoying the 2018 Resource Fair and Block Party.

The block party and fair are the culminating event of the 4th Annual Diversity Week.

Centered on the week’s theme of belonging, the fair features campus and community partners that can help us intentionally create and contribute to an inclusive and welcoming environment. We’ll also have plenty of fun, with live entertainment and food trucks, as well as opportunities for you to network and build partnerships on campus and in the community.

St. Louis MetroMarket, a nonprofit mobile farmers’ market, will have produce for sale. This grocery store on wheels aims to bridge the physical, financial, and educational barriers in food deserts in order to increase the supply and demand for healthy foods in low-income, high-need communities.

Fresh produce will be available for purchase from St. Louis MetroMarket, a non-profit mobile farmers’ market that was launched to provide healthy, affordable food to St. Louis city residents.

Food trucks from Tuk Tuk Thai, Crooked Boot, Seoul Taco, Sarah’s Cake Shop and Cool Times Ice Cream will be on hand with their delicious offerings for sale.

Also featured will be the premiere of a Humans of BJC display. The exhibit features photos and interviews of Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children’s hospital team members who reveal something about their background and perspectives.
