Pediatric Hospital Medicine is a rapidly emerging field in pediatric facilities around the country. Pediatric hospitalist responsibilities are varied depending on each institution’s needs. Our pediatric hospital medicine division is affiliated with the Washington University Medical Center and serves St. Louis Children’s Hospital (SLCH), Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Missouri Baptist Medical Center, Progress West HealthCare Center, Memorial Hospital Shiloh and Memorial Hospital Belleville. The group is composed of board-eligible and board-certified pediatricians who are exclusively hospital-based.
