The Rheumatic Diseases Research Resource-Based Center (RDRRC) invites you to its Mini Symposium, an event designed to unite rheumatic and autoimmune disease researchers from across the campus. This symposium will provide a valuable platform to share new research findings, facilitate scientific exchange, identify potential new collaborations, and promote our associated research core facilities.

Event Highlights:

  • Keynote Address: Delivered by Dr. Mary Nakamura, Director of the NIH/NIAMS-funded P30 PREMIER (Precision Medicine in Rheumatology) Center at UCSF
  • Morning Session: Includes presentations from RDRRC Pilot & Feasibility Awardees and select abstracts from faculty and trainees
  • Research Topics: Submissions include basic, pre-clinical, clinical and public health projects
  • Poster Session: Featuring posters over lunch in the early afternoon

Abstract Submission Details:

  • Requirements:
    • Title and author list with presenting author underlined
    • Department/division affiliations
    • Main text (maximum 350 words) organized as follows:
      • Background/Purpose
      • Methods, materials and analytical procedure used 
      • Results (detailed summary, avoid “results will be discussed”)
      • Conclusion
    • Limit of 2 images, tables, and/or graphics per submission
