This is an opportunity to learn more about how the microbiota influences health and disease, and about the use of mice with defined flora (germ-free or gnotobiotic) to explore the role of the microbiota. It is also a great chance to meet and learn from others in the microbiota community at WashU!

Topics will include the role of the microbiota in infectious diseases, immunology, and other diseases (please see attached flyer). The afternoon will include talks from local faculty and trainees, detailing the findings from their exciting studies in the Gnotobiotics field that are ongoing at Washington University! Refreshments will be provided.

This event is organized by the Washington University Gnotobiotic Core (WU-GREaT).
