Integrated Research Pathway

The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) has approved a specialized training pathway for individuals pursuing academic careers as pediatric physician-scientists. The Pediatric Research Pathway (PRP) is open to applicants with MD/PhD degrees or those who demonstrate equivalent research experience and commitment.

This pathway allows trainees to continue their research during general pediatric residency training. Interested applicants should apply before or early in their PL-1 year.
