American Pediatric Society names 4 Department of Pediatrics faculty as 2023 new members

The American Pediatric Society (APS) has announced four Washington University in St. Louis Department of Pediatrics faculty as 2023 new members. The society — founded in 1888 — is the first and most prestigious academic pediatric organization in North America.

  • Ronald Rubenstein, MD, PhD

APS announced 95 2023 new members. Members of the society are leaders in child health who have extraordinary achievements and work together to shape the future of academic pediatrics. New members are nominated by current members.

“The APS is delighted to welcome this outstanding group of pediatric scholars and thought leaders to our community of distinguished leaders,” said APS President Lisa Robinson, MD. “Through active engagement with our programs and initiatives, the APS looks forward to drawing on the boundless creativity and talent of our members to address the most pressing issues facing academic pediatrics and child well-being.”

New members will be recognized at the APS Presidential Plenary on April 29, 2023, at the Pediatric Academic Societies 2023 Meeting.
