Zaundrea Pinner is a wife of 31 years, mom of six children (three boys and three girls), and she has 14 grandchildren. She grew up in St. Louis north county. She is a proud graduate of Normandy Senior High School. Before coming to Washington University, she worked for Esse Health Mason Road Pediatrics for 12 1/2 years. She was a medical assistant for five years, and for the last 7 1/2 years she was the phlebotomist and lab assistant.
Pinner came to WashU when a friend told her she had gotten a position. She was hired in Otolaryngology working with adults, but shortly after, she realized her passion is really working with children. She has been with Wash U mutli-specialists Pediatrics for ten months. She is now located at the North County Graham location. Pinner has learned how to work front desk since she has been there, as well as being the medical assistant and phlebotomist. Her favorite part about working in multi-specialty is there is always something new to learn. She absolutely loves her 2- and 3-year-old patients — they are her favorites.
When she is not at work, Pinner enjoys going to the gym and working out. She also loves hanging out with her grandchildren (DayVon, 2 mo., and DaShawn, 7 mo., in the picture; the youngest grandboys) and her little four-legged shadow, Isis. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, having a girls day.
