4444 Forest Park
The 4444 Forest Park Building, a six-story facility opened in 1976, houses key departmental resources. The Department of Pediatrics occupies 10,168 square feet on the fifth floor, which includes all essential core support spaces: a cold room, tissue culture room, dark room, microscopy room and an autoclave. These specialized areas enable advanced research and laboratory work in a centralized location.

Focused on improving the health of children, their families and communities through research, education and policy, our division is home to several pediatric services, including the Complex Care Clinic and specialized care in Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics. With strong community partnerships and a nationally ranked hospital partner, we provide comprehensive care through a multidisciplinary team. Adolescent Medicine

Adolescent Medicine
Dedicated to serving adolescent patients aged 12-21, our division provides tailored general and specialized care that addresses their mental, physical and social development. Our team of physicians, dietitians, nurses and social workers specializes in evaluating and treating issues such as eating disorders, weight management, reproductive healthcare, medical problems associated with adolescence, wellness promotion and substance use prevention. By focusing on the unique needs of adolescents, we strive to offer compassionate support in a comprehensive care environment.
Advocacy Pathway
Created by MOCARE, a statewide collaborative of Missouri’s four pediatric residency programs, the Advocacy Pathway prepares residents to become leaders in child health advocacy. This pathway supports those who wish to prioritize advocacy and community pediatrics in their careers. Participants gain insight into child health disparities, explore the drivers of these disparities at state and national levels, and learn how pediatricians can address them through media engagement and health policy influence.

Allergy & Pulmonary Medicine Fellowships
Division of Allergy & Pulmonary Medicine
Pediatric Pulmonology: Providing twelve months of clinical training within a three-year fellowship, this ACGME-accredited pediatric pulmonology program includes six to seven months of clinical service or elective time during the first year, with the remaining five to six months distributed across the final two years.
Pediatric Allergy/Immunology: Offering advanced training in pediatric allergy and immunology, this two-year ACGME-accredited program includes an optional third year for fellows who wish to pursue research in greater depth.
