4444 Forest Park
The 4444 Forest Park Building opened in 1976 and is a 6-story building. Pediatrics occupies 10,168 square feet of the 5th floor. The Department’s space contains all of the necessary core support including a cold room, tissue culture room, dark room, microscopy room and autoclave.

The Division of Academic Pediatrics at Washington University and St. Louis Children’s Hospital is the home of the several different pediatric services, including the Complex Care Clinic and its outpatient services for general pediatric patients, Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (physiatry) and Behavioral and Developmental Pediatrics.

Academic Women’s Network
The Academic Women’s Network was established in 1990 by women faculty at WUSM to promote professional interactions and career development and to assist and mentor women in science and medicine.
Adolescent Medicine
The specialty of adolescent medicine has developed in response to the unique health care needs of adolescents. Knowledge of the physical, cognitive, emotional and social changes that adolescents undergo, as well as the disease processes that occur during adolescence, is vital when caring for patients in this age group. Typical concerns for adolescents that we see include sexual and reproductive health concerns, depression, anxiety and eating disorders.

Allergy & Pulmonary Medicine
Our division supports premier clinical and research programs in pulmonary and allergic diseases of children. The division provides exceptional care for children with various allergic and pulmonary diseases. We similarly pursue the academic mission to advance knowledge of the molecular and immunological basis of these conditions and to develop novel diagnostic and treatment strategies to improve outcomes.
